Specializing in women’s and integrative health since 2004
Jeannie Bianchi brings expertise in women’s health, fertility, digestive health and autoimmune support. She guides patients to better health using acupuncture, herbal medicine, supplements, nutrition and her caring healer’s heart.
She is passionate about the value that Chinese and integrative medicine bring, especially for patients suffering with conditions that fall through the cracks, and for whom no one drug or pill will create total healing. Jeannie dedicates herself to take the time and do the detective work around complicated conditions. In partnership with her patients, she provides a map to help them get back to living.
Women’s Wellness & Fertility
Growing up hearing stories of her own mother’s difficulty conceiving (and resulting twin pregnancy!), Jeannie felt connected early on to understanding reproductive health. Her studies of Chinese medicine since 2000 have reinforced how important a women’s cycle is, as this system centers menstrual health at the forefront of any woman’s overall health.
Jeannie’s personal observations of the ways in which women’s health conditions are understudied or treated cursorily drives her interest in providing robust health solutions for hormonal and reproductive imbalances. She prioritizes not only relieving current complaints, but layering in education and connecting women with resources throughout their reproductive lives.
She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to reproductive conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, painful periods, and perimenopausal symptoms. She supports couples throughout the fertility journey, whether conceiving naturally or alongside assisted technologies like IVF. Jeannie passed a Board Exam demonstrating competency in both Western and Chinese reproductive medicine in 2016 and renews with continuing education each year.
Digestive & Autoimmune Support
Jeannie’s work with patients who are wrestling with digestive and autoimmune conditions is informed by her own journey to wellness. For more than a decade, she struggled with fatigue, bloating and anemia. Finally, she was diagnosed with both Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune condition, and a lesser known condition called eosinophilic esophagitis, which her doctors told her “would only get worse” (direct quote!).
Unwilling to accept this prognosis, Jeannie dug deep into the digestive-immune overlap. Drawing upon her training and new research, she was able to bring her health back through a combination of nutrition, supplements, herbs, meditation, acupuncture and bodywork. One of her greatest joys to be able to help other patients suffering from autoimmune and digestive conditions to know that healing is possible and help them navigate a path to get there.
